Guestbook comments not recorded

The last three entrie in our guestbook recorded the person submitting information but not the comments that were submitted, can anyone help with a possible fix

It appears to be a problem in your entries.txt file somewhere.

To fix it:

1. backup your guestbook files
2. zip and upload your entries.txt file somewhere for me to download and check (in a private message)
3. update guestbook to the latest version

I have the same problem all other fields are being recorded apart from the comment I upgraded to latest version by coping all files apart from entries.txt and settings.php still the same
I am getting the notification email with the comment text but it is not being saved in the entries.txt

Previous poster fixed it by upgrading to the latest version.

Note that any existing damaged comments probably cannot be fixed, but new ones should work fine.

I had upgraded to latest version a couple of weeks ago and to make sure downloaded from your site and upgraded again yesterday still the same

I can see all the comments there and my comment was added without an issue?

I just copied the text from the notifcation email to the entries text file so the coment was visable and uploaded a new copy of entries.txt. I then got your test that worked ?
I'll keep an eye on it and get back to you if I have any problems

If you do get an issue you can zip and send me your entries file, I will try to see what happened to it.
