Installation not work with latest verison

Hi
i downloaded the mod setup archive. now as i uploaded and try it keeps me giving

Error:

Can't connect to database!

Please notify webmaster at support@domain.com

if i run the original setup from help desk it works fine and install page appears but as i replace the original files and tried to install it directly give me above.

Also your installation process is really confusing. Hope if you could make a small video just what you want to say to do with original and mod files before installation.

I just tested the installer on a test instance and had no issues. Make sure that your database host, username, and password are correct (they will be shown on the left-hand side of the install page), and then try again.

sir error is coming as i run the installer. SO if installer page not show me to input database information how can i insert my db data.

Mods for HESK pulls database information from your hesk_settings.inc.php file (which is the same process that HESK pulls database information from).

thats the orignal installation. now sir can you explain that over this i have to replace the mod files.

Download Mods for HESK from https://mods-for-hesk.mkochcs.com/download.php. Then extract the contents of the 2.6.4 folder in the archive to the root of your helpdesk directory (if on Windows, overwrite all conflicts; if on Mac, merge folders with the same name and overwrite any files with the same name). Then nagivate to http://<path to your helpdesk>/install, and you should be transferred to the Mods for HESK installation screen. Select your previous version of Mods for HESK using the dropdown, and click "Upgrade" to upgrade. If you have never installed Mods for HESK before, click "No previous installation". Once the installation completes, delete your install folder.
