function suggestion: custom field

Post by Barlos »

Can the <Custom Fields> be modified as below:

Use check box, to specific what user role can be use.
Administrator
Staff
Customer, who submit the ticket.

It would be very helpful.

Thank you.

I plan to improve custom fields, but most likely not until a large code rewrite is in place, so it may take a while.

Nice to hear.
But me would prefer to allow custom fields per category (Cat 1 has this fields, Cat 2 this etc.) then permission based.
(A similar request should already exist on your "User Voice" site)
Thanks.

PS: Sorry for not being here for a while, so what happened to good old .htaccess with "user:php / pass: php" ? :P

Yeh, could be a combination of both. But to make this efficient a nice chunk of code needs to be rewritten, hence the delay...

I've got "ZB BLock" helping with bots now hence the more user-friendly "no htaccess" access
