OK I have successfully edited both the style css & the overall header files to correct the top margin and now inclusive of my logo again, so therefore I have reduced the gap at the top of the page which was my original question.
I have also included in the overall header file the paragraph under my logo as links can't be added to a txt file (can they?) if I were edit the custom header txt file.
When first replying, originally when editing the overall header file, if I move my new paragraph above the top links where it would logically go, the new paragraph goes up to the very top of the screen with my logo underneath. If I increase the css top header margin, the whole of the header moves down the screen and so because I don't 'practice css/php coding regularly, I
WAS unable to move the top links down the screen to have them
sit under the new top paragraph under my logo where they originally were. (I would've attach a screenshot but I don't have that option available.)
However, the more I edit the code, the more I learn & my top links are where they should be
I had never once edited ANY of the corresponding files until now, namely because I was unable to view any of my guestbook for a time because a 'Malicious File Warning' error would block me. When I contacted the host server support, there was nothing they could do so I've changed host servers. However as a consequence of that Malicious File, my original guestbook formatting has been lost/altered, hence originally needing your help again.
