Counters stopped displaying

Hello Klemen,

I've been using ur script for a while now and it's been working fine... but since yesterday the counters won't display anything on my pages and when using explorer browser, I get a java error message (page not working correctly) here's a link to a page with counters. u will see a column with empty cells where the counter should show

Hello,

Have you been manually adding links to the clicks.txt file? Try removing link ID 975, see if it works then.

By the way: CCount has never been meant to track clicks on so many links (975), text files are not secure and fast enough. I suggest you find a click tracker with MySQL database.

thank u sir it worked... aperently I lost about 20 links... what do u think was the source of the issue!?!

The most likely reason is that CCount was overloaded. Like said, CCount never was meant to count clicks on 1000 links, you should find a MySQL click counter as MySQL is mcuh faster and more secure than text files.

I do plan on writing one myself, but can't really say when ...
