When replying to a ticket, the support agent is able to add attachment to the email. HESK is then generating outgoing email with the message, and includes a link to the uploaded file on the webserver. Since my HESK is protected by .htaccess no customer will be able to grab that file.
I searched the settings in HESK to change it, but no joy yet.
I can think of 2 solutions:
1. Generate an outgoing email and physically attach the file to the email.
2. Use a service such as https://www.inkfilepicker.com/ to host the attachments and provide the link to the file hosted outside HESK.
This are just two ideas, maybe you would like to think about this for future versions.
