All Scripts outdated

Hi Klemen

First of all i would like to thank you for your work and your scripts, initially i had downloaded your scripts such as linkman and click counter on a trial bases, but really their the only thing that is like this, all the other ones they want high dollars for, so i want to thank you for the wonderful script...

I was going to purchase a long time ago a license, not just to remove the copyright notice at the bottom of script, i was going to purchase a license for a good script that was going to be updated, so after 6 months went by and no update, i just figured that the scripts are really not going to be maintained so i never bought one, so i truly think if you are more active with your scripts, the moola will roll in

2ndly i posted back in October of 2011, when i had asked you if the script was dead, and you said dead no, outdated yes, and i had givin you some suggestions, and you said hopefully some of them could make it into an update soon...

so here it is a year later and their hasn't been no updates so i thought i would repost again, to see if their are any plans in the work of updating the scripts

It has been a very long time, with the way the web is going and css3 has improved alot and html 5 and font awsome, theirs so much more potential, the code really needs to be changed to keep up with everything..

Also thumbnail shots has redone the way you view the images like 3 different times, so someone can not just download the script and have the images working. This its self i would think would entitle it to an update.....

I understand you have your own work and other things to do, but linkman and click counter really really needs to be updated and given a face lift...

i went and looked at all the scripts and they all look outdated and haven't been updated in for ages, so i am truly hoping an update is too come really really soon

Also I was kind of curious, I have seen you post in other topics about the script being low priority, I was wondering , you have 9 scripts on the website, do you consider all of them low priority or are any of them a higher priority for you?

It's true, all of the script at phpjunkyard.com are outdated. I am well aware of that. And yes, unfortunately all of them are low priority (HESK gets updated more regularly, but is distributed over www.hesk.com website).

I love developing scripts but the sad truth is I simply don't find enough time to release updates. I have a full time job and a family, so developing free scripts that sell few licenses per year is not on top of my priorities list.

The scripts will eventually get updated, but I really cannot give any guarantees when. It can be in 2 months or 2 years.

Thank you for your response, I guess I was a bit confused, about your website, the first thing i noticed that
it appears that php junkyard looked to be geared more twords the php scripts, i didnt really notice hesk cause its not hosted here....

So since hesk is a totally different website, that kinda leads me to my next question, why have php junkyard if you really don't have the time to maintain it, i also noticed you dont really update your php junkyard website ,,,,

By the way most people who run a website of build scripts work, lol no pun intended

so have you ever considered passing the scripts on too someone else who could devote some time in updating them, I know you don't have much time as you mentioned but most people figure you would at least have enough time to release 1 update a year for one script at least

Look, no offense but I don't feel the need to explain my reasons here.

I spent countless hours on the phpjunkyard.com in the past and I hope to spend more in the future. At the moment things are as they are, I hope my productivity here will improve but I cannot guarantee it. I still try to at least provide customer support and give webmasters who need them access to some basic scripts free of charge.

I appreciate your concern though and I am happy to see that you care for the future of the website and scripts here.

your right, you dont have to explain your self to me, and thats all you have to say, i will totally understand...

and i know i can come off as nosey or rude, not my intentions tho..... I just really beleaive in phpjunkyard cold hardily, i see so much potential in the website its self and in the scripts....

and i know your time is valuable , i guess if i didn't feel strongly in you scripts or website i wouldn't keep coming back, Over the years from when i first downloaded linkman I have totally refactored everything so it doesnt look the same anymore...

I am using some css3 along with font awsome, and some twitter bootstrap, but ass things change such as php 5.3 and 5.4 things will become not compatible ,I am just trying to stay on top of the latest

and i appreciate you watching the forums and im sure everyone else appreciates the free support your offering....
