Alphabetize Categories

Post by imwbC2 »

Hey guys, was successfully able to arrange the order of my canned replies thanks to this forum.

I now need help so that each time I add a category, it will automatically re-order and appear alphabetically. Hope you could inform me which part of the manage_categories file to edit and what exactly to put in. Will it also be 'title'?

Thanks in advance!

I'm afraid you will have to manually move categories up/down when adding them.

Thanks for the info. Hope this could be a feature or possibly available in the near future.

I don;t see where it is possible to adjust the order when editing a category. A little AJAX/Javascript can go a long way on this one or just updates to the database in the UI.

In the category list (on the top of Categories page) you have UP and DOWN arrows in the right side of the list. Those arrows can be used to move a category up or down.
