Diverted to commercial website

Post by shrdlu »

Script URL: www.headlinese.com/mboard
Version of script: 1.4
Hosting company: blue host
URL of phpinfo.php: http://www.headlinese.com/mboard/mboard.php
URL of session_test.php:
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution: diverted

After entering a TEST message and entering proper security code, upon clicking, "continue," instead of proceeding to the forum, I am directed to the website of domain.com. I've reloaded mboard numerous times and carefully gone over settings.php. No luck. By the way, having loaded and purchased via Paypal your gbook17 application, I'm happy to state that it is running fine, including a few cosmetic mods.

Still struggling.
Got settings straightened out by now when attempt to activate is made the response is:

You don't have permission to access /mboard/mboard.php on this server.
Apache Server at http://www.headlinese Port 80

Have reloaded msg directory several times and reset several times from 755 to 777 with no effect. Still FORBIDDEN

Yup. It seemed to start working after the spam security switches were turned off.

Now working on a new problem: After opening the "test" message you posted, when I attempt to ink back via "Return to Crash Blossoms," I wind up
here - http://search.dnsassist.verizon.net/ass ... headlinese.

Am now going back into settings.php and change the headlinese URL to headlinese/mboard and see what happens.

Re: This link, Back to Blossoms Harvest, does not return to form...begins internet search.

Don't see anything wrong with settings.php. But perhaps the problem has been isolated in this text file...
http://www.headlinese.com/back%20to%20FORM.txt

I notice that the dotcom is missing in all of the entries. TheURLs contain only http://www.headlinese. When I manually add the dotcoms and preview the updated file in a web editor, the program links properly. Have I made a mistake along the way?

Are you perhaps missing ".com" in the $settings['mboard_url'] variable in settings?

the mboard URL seems okay. ( htttp://www.headlinese.com/settings.txt )

If I have made other mistakes in settings.php, they are not apparent to me.

All the .COMs seem to be in place.

They are now, yes - a new test worked fine.

Note that any changes you make to the settings only reflect on new posts, not existing ones (because those are stored as plain HTML).
