If you get an error message saying You cannot signup this guestbook at the moment! then you did something to upset the anti-SPAM filter that is blocking you now.

What you should do is close all browser windows, check if you are perhaps banned (your IP inside banned_ips.txt), then open the guestbook again and try to post a new message. Avoid entering words that might trigger SPAM filters and don't put any URL addresses in the comments!

Hi Klemen,

You're right of course.
Now my guest book is working perfectly.
I don't get the clue, I did all possible things mentioned here in this topic.
I've looked up the banned ip text but nothing shows up, it was blank.
The 'closing the browser and cleaning up the history' issue that's one thing I did over and over before testing.

Now I can post with the the bad words filter and the spam filter enabled, filling out every field.
The issues I mentioned before, in my previous post, don't matter whether they are enabled or not.
The only thing I've changed is the 'JunkMark score limit after...' value to 75 because with values lower than 70, I got the message again.
I've also left the bad words list edited as I've described.
I hope this value of 75 is allowed or safe enough (?).

Hi Klemen,
I am the owner of the http://www.melbournetinytours.com/gbook/gbook.php but I am now blocked by the spam mentioning 'ERROR: We don't like spammers. You have been permanently banned from this guestbook!'. I have tried to use IE, Firefox and Mac & Iphone Safari to open the link but failed. I also used the 3G network in my Iphone with different IP address as the desktop to try, but also blocked. In this case I cannot view or reply any guestbook . Furthermore I also tried to close all app and retype again but did not work. Please advise how to fix it. Thanks.

Could you try uploading a blank (empty) banned_ip.txt file to the server then close all browser windows and see if that helps?
