Collation is not used always, try finding a ticket by Name (Admin panel > Find a ticket > Search for (type something) > Search in: "Name") and see if that throws an error (it does on my server!).

About Polish version I'm surprised that this situation occured, but cases as seen happen.
I published Polish translation by the moment (v1.1) - has corrected sentences styles.

Hello.

Both translations are translated differently and is not likely to replace. It's not a big difference, for example one has a new ticket as a new case, the second as a new question. I think that both may be usable.
