a script to make most filehosts with full resume support

You are experts in scripts and how they work . I don't have knowledge of scripts . I have got a script that can make most filehosts with full resume support . I don't know how to chomed files or folders to make the script work .
The instructions of how to use the script is :

- CHMOD the folder "data" to 777
- CHMOD file ".htaccess" to 666.
- CHMOD file "account.php" to 666.
- Password default: demo
- Custom functions in the file "config.php"
- Add your account in file "account.php

How can I apply these instructions ?
