Attachments will not open in IE, but works on Firefox

I am relatively new to hesk and have run into an issue when opening attached files. When I use IE to open files, mostly pdf files the files will not open. However when I use firefox I have no issues at all opening files. I am using IE 9. Has anyone had similar issues?

Works fine here, tested in IE9, FF, Chrome, Opera, ...

Note that HESK should force "download" of attachments and NOT open them directly in the browser, so it shouldn't make any differences as to which browser you use. If your downloads aren't being forced then something in your server is breaking http headers.
