"Passwords may not work after upgrade"

Post by jakealmond »

Hello All! :)

Apologies if this question has already been answered elsewhere.

I wish to upgrade our HESK to the latest version. I was just looking at the guide and one of the listed issues has made me a bit nervous:

"Passwords may not work after upgrade from older versions (reset password)."

I understand if my own password is reset it I can recover it but my question is will this potentially affect other users too? We have a lot of users and I am worried about locking them all out if I perform the upgrade.

Any information would be appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Jake

Since you are upgrading from version 2.2 this won't effect you, the password structure has changed from older versions.
