admin_main.php keeps deleting

I have a new, completely unmodified, 'successful' installation of Hesk. Successful except that I cannot view the home page in Hesk. I get this error:

admin_main.php was not found on this server.

When I locate the file on my host and try to read it or even access the attributes it gets deleted automatically. I have tried to CHMOD the attributes but the file gets deleted each time I upload it and try to CHMOD. I can see the file is there before I try to access it, but it disappears after.

I can view all other tabs (users, categories, canned, knowle.... etc) with no problem.

I have read through the forums for support and tried one solution of zipping the admin_main.php in an 'encoded' folder, uploading as a zip file and then unzipping on the server. But the zipped folder also gets deleted! I'm sure it must be a server issue, is it? Will my provider be aware of Hesk if I try to explain the problem.

Turns out my host malware scanner finds malicious code and in the files and wont let me install them on the server.

Antivirus software on your server is probably falsely detecting admin_main.php as "possible virus", because it uses some encoding that some antivirus programs identify as "possible threat".

You will need to ask your hosting company to confirm this and add admin_main to "ignore" list so it's not automatically deleted.

Version 2.4 has that code rewritten and will hopefully not raise false flags.
