Numerous 'pages'

Post by livemusic »

I have not installed the script yet. I need a guestbook on each page for my site. The pages are about different things. Can this be done?

I am not exactly sure what you would like to do.
But different guestbooks can exist next to eachother, you just have to install it several times in different directories.
It is not possible (without modifying or placing it in an iframe) to put it on page as a reaction form to an article on the same page.

I do not monitor the Gbook forums regularly anymore since I do not use the Gbook script myself anymore for a long time. But it helped me a lot in learning to understand php.

Say I have a site about dogs. Each page showcases a different dog. I want a guestbook on each page so people can comment about that certain dog. How? If I have to install the entire script each time I want to make a page, I am not sure this is worth the trouble. Surely there is a solution, I see this all over the web.

That is a function very common in cms systems. GBook is not the right solution for that kind of function. I think you will be better of using a cms system like WorPress or Joomla for your site.

Or you can try google to find a 'page comment script'.
