removing gap (white background) after purchasing license key

Need some help here..
After purchasing a license key, the copyright notice (powered by), is removed alright. But now i have a white (background) gap underneath the sign-form and my footer-image. How can i remove this gap? I placed the code for the footer-image at the end of the code in ' overall_footer.php' , after the php "include footer.txt" (which i didn't use).

Please can someone help me?
