Is it possible to have custom fields only appear when certain options from the previous custom field are selected.

E.g

If I create a custom field called 'support for:' and there are 2 options in that dropdown of 'hardware' and software'.
When a user selects 'hardware' a second custom field then appears with a list of harware types but if a user selects 'software' a software custom field appears instead.
