Knowledgebase: Branch not displayed but articles accesible

What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution: knowledgebase

This morning I wanted to shift an article, which I have put into a folder within the knowledgebase, into a different subfolder (Admin Section). This however removed the whole folder including all the subfolders from the knowledgebase tree. Strangely the articles are still visible as well as accesible on the admin page as well as the main support page, which is visible to the public. However the main folder of which these articles are a part of has disappeared and I can't view or access the articles in the knowledgebase tree view.
Has anyone got an idea on how to fix this or what happened?

Could you post step-by-step instructions of what you did so I can try to duplicate it on my end?

If you are familiar with phpMyAdmin check if the folder still exists in the "hesk_kb_categories" table inside the database.
