Changing an entry in the guestbook

Is it possible tot correct or changing an entry someone has written in the Guestbook ?.
I mean, when someone wites an antry en i approve it, but aftherwards i see that there are some characters missing or a word is written the wrong way.

I Know that these entry's are written in the textfile Entrys_@@@ , but when i change the wrong or missing characters nothings happens ?

Hallo cameleon,

To edit posted messages you should indeed edit the entries.txt (or what you renamed it to) file.

Best way is to copy it from your server wit an ftp program and edit it on your local computer with an editor like PSPad or Notepadd++. Than after you edited it upload it again to your webserver.
When you now reload the gbook it should display the changes you made.

I do not monitor the Gbook forums regularly anymore since I do not use the Gbook script myself anymore for a long time. But it helped me a lot in learning to understand php.
