I just took over as a Board member for a group. Somewhere there is a Guestbook because I am getting all the junk mail, but for the life of me I cannot find any link, or page, anywhere to a guestbook on our website so I cannot figure out how people are accessing it. So, not sure if anyone can help e.g. if there is a back end somewhere off our site, how do I access it?
Where is my Guestbook?
Re: Where is my Guestbook?
You gave the path to your guestbook in your post, http://www.calgarygardenpath.ca/gbook/gbook.php
That you have no link to it in your menu does not mean it does not exist. I could easily find it with Google "gbook Calgary" (6th link on the results page here). So spammers can also find it.
There is no backend to gbook. The daily things can be done with the 3 admin links ( X => IP ) at each post in Gbook itself. All the files of the Guestbook are i nthe folder "gbook" on your server. You can reach it with an ftp program. If you want to delete the guestbook, just delete the folder "gbook" and all its contents.
Greetings,
Henrie

I do not monitor the Gbook forums regularly anymore since I do not use the Gbook script myself anymore for a long time. But it helped me a lot in learning to understand php.
