I've heard a few requests with this. The ability to merge tickets opened by people. As many of the business owners and support people know, is that people never listen or read anything that you have on the site. You tell them to do 123 and they purposely do 456, you have to force them into it.
Well in our case is that people are opening duplicate tickets, we respond to one ticket and they continue the conversation on another. A great feature would be to have the ability for the administrator to do a search for a bunch of tickets and have the ability to merge them into one ticket. It gets tiresome asking these people the same questions over and over again or looking up information.
Or if there's something I can set up that if an existing person has an existing ticket (whether opened or closed) that they have to use that existing ticket number. Provider that I've replied to it of course, because K set mine up so that the reply to the person is taken away until we reply back. So it would have to be setup so that they'd get an error message with the existing ticket number that they have to use, if we replied back to that ticket and the person just opened another one up.
