Adding new topic to knowledge base adds 100 copies of it

Post by Neil »

Script URL: http://www.netsa.co.za/support
Version of script: 2.2
Hosting company: Net S.A.
URL of phpinfo.php: http://www.netsa.co.za/support/phpinfo.php
URL of session_test.php: http://www.netsa.co.za/support/session_test.php
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution: Checked knowledge base several times, Google'd for solution, Re-intstalled application three times. Followed rules of your post : READ BEFORE POSTING

Write your message below:

I downloaded and installed ver 2.2 today. I am highly impressed with the capabilities of the script. When I add a new article to the knowledge base the script adds 100 copies of the article to the database. The only changes I made was to adapt script to the templates of my website.

Any advice on how to overcome this will be much appreciated.

Thanks
Neil

I've seen this before on a server that had a strange PHP setup (didn't recognize some PHP set variables correctly). I won't bore you with technical details, but try uploading the attached files into your "admin" folder instead of the original ones:

Let me know if this fixes the problem.

Klemen you are the best. Thank you eternally for solving my problem so quickly. Be assured of my continued support for your scripts.

The alternative PHP files for the admin folder did it!!!

Thanks
