(if not please do before posting)
If so, what terms did you try: losing posts old posts

Write your message below:
I am losing my old posts. Is it possible to have multiple pages so the older posts will stay available longer. The book tops out with seven posts and one page. In other posts I have seen a reference to a setting in the settings.php file to save old posts but I cannot find a reference to it in the file or the readme.html. Is this by chance the log_file setting?

I also would like to add other smilies to the board..is this possible and if so could you assist or point me in the direction I need to go in learning how to do this?

You are not loosing old posts, GBook makes new pages, see
http://www.phpjunkyard.com/gbook/gbook.php

Note that this is the GUESTBOOK script, the MESSAGE BOARD script has a limit to the number of posts.

Thanks for the quick reply. My guestbook is definitely not making new pages. Can you think of anything I might have changed that may have caused this? The book was started on August 10 and I do not have any posts that are showing previous to August 28.
