Filtering on a custom field value

Would it be difficult to make a quick fix to make possible filtering on a custom field in the main staff page ?

Example: Custom field one (CF1) is a choice between values V1, v2, v3, v4, v5, v6
I would like to list all tickets with CF1=v3

Can't you use the "Find a ticket" form on the admin main page for this? Enter v3 in the "Search for" field and select Custom field one from the "Search in" list.
