I have changed my complete server and moved to another provider.
However, I copied all stuff including Hesk.
The problem is, that the attachments (at least the PDF files from which I have figured out the problem) are damaged. That means, when I click on an attachment, the browsers' download popup opens but then the Adobe Reader says 'File is damaged'. I have looked up the file in the attachment folder, even replaced and renamed one of the PDFs with its original file but still after the download, the file is damaged.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Warlock

Re: File attachments damaged after server move
You probably uploaded binary files in ASCII mode. The only solution is to download and upload the original ones again.

Re: File attachments damaged after server move
Unfortunately, Hesk doesn't offer to update existing files and the described phenomenon applies to all uploaded files.
Is the only thing I can do really to reply with a new ticket and upload the original files again?
My attempt described above was to replace the file in the attachments folder of HESK by the original the original file itself. I transferred the original file via SSH (WinSCP).
Do you have other suggestions how to 'repair' these files or at least replace the files in the original post with their originals?
Best,
Manuel

Re: File attachments damaged after server move
It's not a Hesk issue, it's a file tansfer mode issue. You (probably) transferred files from one server to antoher in the wrong mode. Again, the only way to fix it is if you get the files from first server again and upload it in the correct mode to the new server.

Thanks for your help.
The solution was even simpler...I adjusted the past and forgot to change it in the configuration of Hesk.
