Images in comment boxes? Vulnerable to hackers?

Post by Maximilian »

I am using GBOOK V1.7
I was wondering how you can put a custom divider image into the comment boxes that have been posted. Under the comment and above the date (added: June 15, 2010)

Would you edit the language.inc.php file?
I found a website that talks about people possibly hacking that file.

What is the easiest and most secure way to use images in comments?
Thanks in advance. Sorry if I posted wrong but this is my first time.

You will need to modify HTML code in the "templates/default/comments.php" file to fit your needs. Play with it until you get the result you want.

As for hacking the langauge.inc.php file - to "hack" this file one would need FTP access to your server, not sure where you got that idea from... If you read topics about language file problems of other scripts that doesn't mean all scripts with a language file are vulnerable.
