All,

I'm moving the above domain to a new ISP. I'm wanting to take my 'hesk' with me. Don't fancy doing all the KB retyping.

Do I need to take a copy of the database that it is currently with my old ISP and upload it to my new ISP?

or as I'd prefer

Install a new DB at my new ISP and then copy the files that I see in my ftp directory. Can I do that?

Thanks

This is how I'd do it:

1. install HESK on the new domain and make sure it's working

2. copy database contents from the old server (if you have phpMyAdmin use the Export function)

3. enter database contents to the new server (if you have phpMyAdmin you can execute the SQL code generated by the Export function on the old server)
