Slight problem when using ccount to track an email link

Post by sparkdigital »

Script URL: www.fihotels.com/ccounter
Version of script: latest
Version of PHP: 4
Hosting company: namesco
Have you searched THIS FORUM for your problem: yes
(if not please do before posting)
If so, what terms did you try: email link

Write your message below:

I've used the ccount script (works great, thanks!) to track an email link on this page
http://www.fihotels.com/linthwaite-lake ... -hotel.htm but not only does it open a blank email message, it also opens a new blank page with the email tag in the address bar.

Is there any way to only open the blank email message and just keep the page as it is?

Thanks,

Konrad

That happens because CCount tries to redirect to an URL (that's why the blank page). I don't think there is a way around it, you can try with this if it helps:

Thanks,

It doesn't quite do it, but I'll change click.php so it will look like the website template with all the links so the visitor can then continue through the site.

Thank for your help, much appreciated.
