Hesk admin panel not loading

I've installed hesk 2.1 on my IIS 7 server and can get to the index.php but whenever I click on the 'admin panel' link I just get an http 500 error page. I've made sure that Iusr has full control rights to the hesk21 folder.
I'm fairly new to IIS so might have just not set it up correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If everything else works it's probably a security featture preventing you to access any URL in the "admin" folder?
