Version of script: 1.7
Hosting company: hostmoster
URL of phpinfo.php: http://www.candy-arts.com/phpinfo.php + http://www.candy-arts.com/delfimarts/phpinfo.php (addon domain)
URL of session_test.php: http://www.candy-arts.com/error.jpg
What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:
captcha, image, code, number
Write your message below:
Hello,
First the captcha image was not showing, I was getting an red X. Then I changed the setting.php file, "$settings['autosubmit']=1;" to "$settings['autosubmit']=2;". Now the numbers are showing but when guests write the comments it always says the number is wrong, please view error image http://www.candy-arts.com/error.jpg If possible try to add a post, it will not take the numbers showing. Additionally I have added a temp dir in the cgi folder with permission code 777. But it keeps giving the same error. Please Help. Thank You.

Looks like problems with sessions. Upload the sesstion test files to
http://www.delfim-arts.com/guestbook/session_test.php
and
http://www.delfim-arts.com/guestbook/session_test2.php
so we can test it.

Also may I ask where you downloaded GBook from? The official web site or somewhere else?

I do not have this files named session_test.php and session_test2.php, they are not in the installation... I installed a new gbook just to see if the files would install, but they are not part of the installation. Where do I get them?

The guestbook I installed direct from the cpanel (simple script) at hostmonster, please view http://www.candy-arts.com/cpanel.jpg

Additionally I have noticed that the captcha goes missing when I edit the settings.php file, this is when I enter the links for the header, the link for the Home Page. There is nothing else I do, just the links.

Because you posted in the wrong forum (General discussion instead of Gbook, Klemen can you change this?) you did not see this topic Announcement: READ THIS BEFORE POSTING A NEW QUESTION!!
The link to download the files Klemen asks for is in that post http://www.phpjunkyard.com/extras/session_test.zip

Greetings,
Henrie
I do not monitor the Gbook forums regularly anymore since I do not use the Gbook script myself anymore for a long time. But it helped me a lot in learning to understand php.
