redirect back to home page causing no images to be displayed
Hello mackie,
I have no problems at all. I tried with two different browsers (Firefox and Internet Explorer).
I did notice however that the images you use on your homepage are very big in size. For example the image Libertychurch1.jpg has a size of 4MB (3888px x 2592px). But you only display it at a size of 310px x 175px. And you have more photos for which you have done this.
I am not sure, but maybe the loadtime to load these extreme big size images could be the problem.
You should try to resize the photo itself and not just scale it in your html code. Scaling by using html code does not reduce the size (bytes) the page has to transfer over the internet.
You should use an image editor to resize the photo (you could use the freeware program Irfanview to do this). And thereby reduse the amount of bytes that have to be transferred over the internet. Even if this does not solve the problem, this will safe you some bandwidth costs.
Greetings,
Henrie

I do not monitor the Gbook forums regularly anymore since I do not use the Gbook script myself anymore for a long time. But it helped me a lot in learning to understand php.
Problem solved
Many Tanks to you guys. problem from original posted has been resolved. the fix was in the settings.php where URL is specified. I changed the " / " (no quotes) at end of url to a " ? " and now images appear normal on home page after redirect.
Extreemly pleased not only with your script but it's ease in set up as well.
Awsome job
Keep up the good work
