conflict with gcount and facebox

I hvae installed Gcount - and it works beautifully! Thanks!
The problem I am having seems to be some sort of conflict with Facebox.

When I use gcount on regular pages - all works fine.
When that same page is called via facebox, the page will load momentarily in the facebox window - then goes to a completely blank page with the hit count digits in the top left corner - all by themselves - nothing else is on the page.

Like I said, If I navigate to that page not using facebox, the counter shows where it is suppose to.

Do you know of any conflict with facebox - and if so, how can I get around this problem?

I don't use Facebook so can't be sure but maybe it blocks all Javascript or something? The counter prints valid Javascript code so if it's not working it's a problem on Facebook side.
