"<br />";magic quotes
Write your message below:
Wherever someone inputs a carriage return (Enter) or a line feed (shift Enter) into a message, the text has "<br />" in it. I am trying to access the MYSQL data using Microsoft Access via ODBC but the message field gets truncated after the first "<br />", so a lot of my messages only display "Hi <br />" in the access tables.
Is this expect behaviour and if so, can anyone suggest a workaround?
Message body contains <br /> at end of lines

Yes, that is the expected behaviour as the plain text entered in the "Message" filed is getting transformed into (X)HTML code.
I never used Access so I'm not why it truncates data after<br />. That's not something I can help with.
