Linkman and Search Engines
Linkman and Search Engines
I am testing Linkman (Neat program) and was wondering how it might impact my Search Engine rankings. Since the script is dynamic how will the bots know who I am linked to? If the know the incoming links for my trading partners, how will they know my out going links? I would like to be fair to the people I am exchanging links with. Thanks Ronnie...
Hi,
The script is completely search engine friendly. Modern search engine bots have no problems detecting and indexing dynamically generated URLs (with "?page=X" in the URL). I would recommend limiting links to maximum 25-30 per page and not enabling the rel=nofollow tags.

Hi Klemen Thanks for getting back to me and I love the script. I am a little new to this so please forgive my questions. If I understand correctly I can have unlimited link pages as long as there are no more than 30 per page and the nofollow tags are off?
Another item I am having a problem with is the back ground. When I set the Background-image to x.jpg, the title lines stay as white stips along the length of the page. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks again. Ronnie
