Can Gbook work on two domains but different folders?

I have two different domains but using the same file system but different folders, eg johns/gbook/gbook.php and johnsfamily/gbook/gbook.php.

Can this work and what can I do to make it work? I had to change security image to text and one of them still won't accept new entries.

It won't work because sessions can't be transferred among domains.
