How to enter "outside" links vs. normal "inte

Post by JoAnne »

Script URL: www.microwavesoftware.com (site ccount is on)
Version of script: 1.1
Version of PHP:
Hosting company: www.lowesthosting.com
Have you searched THIS FORUM for your problem: Yes
(if not please do before posting)
If so, what terms did you try: All that looked like they might be my problem

Write your message below:
Install & CHMOD on Linux Server simple & quick. CCount works GREAT on "INTERNAL" files, i.e., I have a pg titled sampler.html and clicks record O.K. My problem is I don't know HOW to create a link to an EXTERNAL site? I have a link on my web www.microwavesoftware.com that takes a visitor to www.antivirusyellowpages.com This link will NOT "count." :( I tried it alone and also tried entering the long string www.microwavesoftware.com/www.antivirusyellowpages.com but it does not count. How to enter a link to an external site? Also, I've deleted some link ID's. How to "reset" links to 1,2,3 etc instead of seeing 1,2,5,6 ?? (3 and 4 were deleted). :)
Thank you!

HI,

CCount works on outside links just as well as it does on the inside, just make sure you use the correct URL (http://www.antivirusyellowpages.com is correct and not www.microwavesoftware.com/www.antivirusyellowpages.com )

As for "reseting" link IDs you can't do that unless you would manually edit the value in "ids.txt" file.
