This means you are running an old unsupported version of PHP on your server.

Hesk 3.4 requires at least PHP 5.6

I thought that it can be a php version issue, but I hoped that it will work because on the sites they are written:
Hesk requires 5.3.0 > https://www.hesk.com/knowledgebase/index.php?article=32
while ATW.hu provides 5.6 or higher > https://atw.hu/atwiki/Milyen_PHP_verziokat_tamogatnak
Probably ATW.hu only provides this for paid users and for the free ones...

It's an error in our article, sorry; the up-to-date system requirements are on the download page:
https://www.hesk.com/download.php

You can try using Hesk version 3.2.5 or older if you need PHP 5.3 support:
https://www.hesk.com/download-legacy.php

I'm getting the same error, but on line 380. I'm using PHP`version 7.3

If you have original, unmodified Hesk files, this error means your PHP is older than 5.4.0

You can check by uploading the phpinfo.php file to your Hesk folder, then opening it in your browser. The phpinfo file is here:
