Someone on my AA site said to learn PHP and scripting--I don't have the time at the moment but am interested in Link Man. Plus my daughter wants to learn about PHP. Can any newbie like me handle it? Do I need to buy a version of PHP or does it usually come with windows XP? It obviously needs to be hosted--is that something by website company would do?
I know I sound completely ignorant right now but I felt the same way when I built my own website (albeit templated). The hard part was ranking it and I learned how to do that--so I guess I may be able to handle this.
Please forgive my ignorance but any help would be greatly appreciated.
