I am trying to install HESK in Cpanel but getting error as Requirements: "php-session ON (detected: OFF)"

What should I do?

Thank you.

You are probably using a third-party installation script, not the default Hesk installation process? If yes, you will need to check with them to see what exactly they mean with that.

It's possible that PHP sessions do not work on your server; you can try "2. Do PHP sessions work?" from this article to check:
https://www.phpjunkyard.com/support/kb/ ... article=24

If they don't, check with your host why PHP sessions aren't working.
If they do, check with the 3rd party installation script what they mean by that, or use the official download files from hesk.com

Hi,

I worked on our given procedure and PHP session did not open. The page appeared as "Page you are looking for is not found"

We are using GoDaddy Hosting, can you confirm whether do they support this Php-session ON?

Support of GoDaddy have no idea whats that! thats really an embracing moment for them as their support is not good.

Thank you.

Not sure about GoDaddy settings, but they are not a very reliable or PHP-friendly host. Except to have problems with sending emails as well...

Have you tried with original Hesk installation files, or contacting your installation script provider?

Hi,

You got my words on Email too. However, I have tried but did not work.

I did some google and confused on PHP since it is not my field. I think there is a Php.ini file in which this session supposed to be configured as ON?

or any other idea please share.

Thank you.

My only remaining idea (something I can help with, since I am not your host and don't control the server) is to:
1. download Hesk from https://www.hesk.com/download.php
2. follow manual installation instructions at https://www.hesk.com/demo/docs/step-by-step-guide.html
