Forgive my directness but this situation is seriously affecting my office productivity. I am seeing nearly a year old responses regarding a rich-text editor for v3. What gives is that the Knowledge Base has it. Now, I upgraded from v2 so all the existing active tickets are now showing the markup and is making a real mess of things for my staff. We rely on this script heavily and now the tickets are unreadable.
Your responses to this question a year ago said it would be developed by the end of the year. We are now a full year cycle.
Is there any way I and others can help to expedite this?

Firstly, WYSIWYG for tickets was never supported by Hesk, you were most likely using the unofficial "Mods for Hesk"? If the change affects your productivity you should revert back to what you were using from your backups (or hire a developer to help you fix things).
Secondly, as you probably know, we work on Hesk in our free time so things take their time and any dates we give out are just rough estimates. It's free software and while we enjoy working on it, we do have full-time jobs elsewhere.
That said, Hesk 3.2.0 with WYSIWYG support is currently in beta testing and security review stage. Unless something unpredictable happens (which is not unlikely), it will be out in February.

Not the release of 3.2.0 directly, but you are welcome to support our efforts by purchasing a Hesk license or sending a small donation.AlcoholJustice wrote: Fri Feb 05, 2021 10:56 amIs there any way I and others can help to expedite this?

P.s.: forgot to add that I do not know if v3.2.0 editor and database structure is fully compatible with Mods For HESK; there is no guarantee it will work on your existing data.

Re: WYSIWYG MarkUp HTML rich-text Editor in v3
Near HESK 3.2.0's release, an update will be made to the Mods for HESK uninstaller that will convert any HTML/rich text tickets and replies into a more friendly plaintext variant than what you are currently seeing right now. However, you must still be running Mods for HESK to take advantage of the conversion process.
I was hoping to introduce a way to keep the rich text going from Mods for HESK to HESK 3; however, any solution that I could come up with is more complex and confusing than I would like it to be.
