Batch adding links

Hello!
Would it be possible to add a function for adding links by batch?
We have about 4000 files on a website. Assuming they are in the same directory, we could just write down the file names, and the software would generate links (for example with the md5 hash of the file name) and write the new ccount_database.php.
For now we are working on an excel file to do the job, but it would be nice to have the function inside the script
