Hi,

we have the latest version of the Hesk knowledgebase which is the current version and been working fine for several years, but due to not having staff back in work yet to answer the tickets I followed the online instructions on ' can i use Hesk as a knowledgebase only. That worked fine but now i have lost all the previous knowledgbase info we had created over the last several years. I gone back and reversed the process to be a ticked and knowledgebase but no information is there.

is there anyway to get all this information back and working or have we lost it all?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Changing the "knowledgebase only" setting does not delete anything from the database. Unless you destroyed (manually deleted) data from the database, it all should still be there.

Try clearing all the Hesk cache - delete everything inside "cache" folder except the index.htm file.

Thanks for the help but I've tried that and whilst the knowledgebase articles can be seen in the cpanel, they are still not showing on the main site.

i'm sure i'm doing something wrong, so sorry for taking your time on this

PS. I've found the button in the CPanel that allows the turning off and on of the knowledgeable / help desk only function save me altering the files in file manager - but its still not showing up the knowledgeable articles.

Hard to say what is going on without actually seeing your database and files.

If you are willing to give me access to your help desk I will have a look. If yes, don't post anything in public, send me a private message.
