URLs to customers not completed

Hi all,
I've noticed that when I reply to a ticket, and put a web URL in the message, the end user only receives part of the URL. What ultimately happens, is they write back saying it doesn't work. So, for example, let's say I tell someone to go to:
https://www.google.com
They get the message showing the entire link as above, but only the following part is clickable:
https://www.
Not the rest. Naturally, that won't take you anywhere. Anyone else seen this before?
