Embedded images into body of emails don't appear in tickets

Hi,

Images pasted into email body don't appear in ticket created. But if you add as attachment they appear. What could be the issue please., All settings seem correct for instance upload_max_file-size etc..,

It depends on how those images are embedded in the email source. Please send a test email to pop3test at hesk dot com and I will look into it.

It seems to work fine for me.

Make sure you have "Embedded files: Save embedded files as attachments" enabled in Admin panel > Settings > Email > under "Other"

Hello Klemen., after enabling *save embedded files as attachment* it worked for sometime and now I don't see attachments. But from the ticket message I can see *image removed*, *image removed* a lot but with no attachments.What could be the issue please?

Even with "email to ticket", attachment settings are still respected (Admin panel > Settings > Help desk > Attachments)

Whatever limits you have set up there (number of attachments, file types, ...) will be considered. So if you only allow 2 attachments, but the email comes with 10 embedded and/or attached files, only 2 will be accepted.

Yes Klemen, I have set the Number per post to 10 and maximum file size to 25MB..,but the ticket that came in has 4 images but all say's "image removed" is there any settings that am missing out?

The email you sent was parsed normally in my test with 8 images attached.

Please make sure that you have:

1. the latest version of Hesk installed
2. Attachments enabled
3. Number per post number high enough
4. Maxmimum file size high enough
5. .png under Allowed file types
6. Save embedded files as attachments enabled in Settings > Email tab
