During install, found deprecated functions in PHP 7.4:

Deprecated: Function get_magic_quotes_gpc() is deprecated in (...)/helpdesk/inc/common.inc.php on line 39
Deprecated: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is deprecated in (...)/helpdesk/inc/setup_functions.inc.php on line 511
Deprecated: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is deprecated in (...)/helpdesk/inc/setup_functions.inc.php on line 514

I suggest remove deprecated tasks.

Thanks for the heads up. I have identified a few other issues and will include a complete fix in the next update, most likely in early January.
