Text of entries not visible

I've got a free website to try out stuff and I wanted to have a guestbook. The provider provides 120 free apps you get installed by itself. So I installed GBook. The url of the guestbook is:
https://eludage.ch/Gastebuch/gbook.php

The problem is that the message itself isn't visible. I don't know what's the problem. If I change it to manual approval I get an email with the correct message. So the message is there somewhere but it's not shown in the guestbook.

Can someone please help me.

This could be a problem with the entries.txt file. Can you upload it somewhere for me to see?

And in settings.php are the following two lines:

$settings['logfile']='entries_Vm0qqg0miE.txt';
So it's the right file.

I switched on manually approval for the entry <<Test test>> to see if that fixes the problem.

I've got the following email (I shortend the url with xyz):
Hello!

A new guestbook entry is waiting approval.

Name: Test
From: Test
E-mail:
Website:
Message (without smileys):
Testtest

To APPROVE the entry visit this URL:
https://eludage.ch...

To REJECT the entry visit this URL:
https://eludage.ch/...

End of message
The message "testtest" appeared in the email but not in the entries_Vm0qqg0miE.txt

Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of the country.

Your entries file is corrupted and the message is missing. What caused that I am not sure and unfortunately there is no way to find out. Unless you have an old backup available, I am afraid those entries are gone.

What I would do is:
1. update your guestbook to the latest version, you are using an outdated version
2. reset (empty) the entries file
