[SOLVED] Can't add a new language

Post by heskneedhelp »

Update:

Solved by renaming language from

Lietuvių to Lietuva,
These were taken from English

utf8_unicode_ci
UTF-8

Script URL: https://www.airyhelp.com
Version of script: 2.9.3
Hosting company: http://www.lotosus.com
URL of phpinfo.php: https://www.airyhelp.com/fl/phpinfo.php
URL of session_test.php: https://www.airyhelp.com/fl/session_test.php

What terms did you try when SEARCHING for a solution:
language, got too common word and got no results

Write your message below:

Hi, I am trying to translate the site to Lithuanian, copy / pasted english folder, renamed it, changed some text in text.php, saved in admin, got no errors while it was checking for language issues, but when switching to that language, I get:

Error:

"Can't execute SQL"

I even tried just uploading new language without changing anything but language name in text.php, same thing, it passes all good in admin but gives same error.

https://www.airyhelp.com/?language=Lietuvi%C5%B3

it works fine for pre-translated languages that I got from your site and it added german ,etc. without any issues.

Do I need to add anything to the mysql?

I'm guessing you have an old PHP or MySQL version running?
