Category Manager not getting tickets

After making user Category Manager they are not getting all tickets in that category. Tickets must be specifically assigned to them in order for them to receive. What is the setting to allow Category Manager to receive all tickets in that category regardless of ownership?

The category manager simply has admin-like access to the category they are assigned to (this way they can reassign, delete, and reply to tickets even if they do not have the permissions to do so elsewhere); they do not receive any emails regarding new tickets unless they are directly assigned.

But, the assigned user as Category Manager can not see all the tickets from all others assigned to tickets in the same category. The Cataegory Manager user can only see the tickets they are assigned to.

Is there any way to default assignment of tickets to specific users that come through a particular category? What is Auto-assign then? There is no reference in the KB.

Depends on which permissions are assigned internally to the category manager.
If this "role" doesnt have "can_view_ass_others" (no, its not about buttocks :roll: ) and neither the user itself he can only see tickets he owns and unassigned tickets.

Then they should also view all tickets in their category, no whether the owner is.
