We are using HESK Version 2.2 and trying to do some modifications on it as per our requirement.

1. I can see that there is not authentication mechanism for users ( Example when user open hesk page to create new ticket there is not prompt for user authentication like he can enter any false information).

Can ldap authentication is possible in this hesk ?

Not trying to be rude, but did you try searching for LDAP on the forums? There's a thread right here about LDAP: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4744. I can't guarantee if anything is accurate, especially since you're running an older version of HESK.

As also mentioned several times, HESK was designed specifically for the purpose NOT to use customer usernames and passwords.

From my experience customers are fed up and tired of having to use a username/password combination for every website/service, hence Hesk was designed to be as user friendly as possible and not require any login by the customer.

So, customers not being logged in (anyone can post a ticket) is by design in Hesk.
